eBird didn’t flag this as rare, but it seemed uncommon around here forwinter, so thought I’d report it. I stopped at Valle Verde Park in Powaywhile out on my bike this afternoon. The west edge of the park wasrather birdy for 2:00 in the afternoon, so I stuck around for about 20minutes to see what was there. Found a Western Tanager moving around inthe blooming trees on that edge of the park. Also had a Hutton’s Vireothat was adorned in very nice fresh plumage.Lisa RubySabre Springs– Lisa RubySabre Springs
