At around 8:15 AM, while working at the Zoo, I noticed a male Varied thrush on the ground just outside the west entrance of Parker Aviary. It was in the company of a couple of American robins and flew up into a fig tree above the aviary entrance. I managed to capture some identification shots with my phone, which can be viewed at https://www.sdbirder.com/Birds/Varied-thrush-Zoo-322023-ID-Shots/n-3BvsHG/
