Varied Thrush in Pamo Valley

Birding the northern portion of Pamo Valley for the Escondido Christmas Bird Count,Supeena and I found a Varied Thrush, about a half mile up Lusardi Truck Trail (a.k.a. Forest Rte. 11S01) in Carney Canyon.  It was seen briefly in the largeoaks trees between the road and the creek, a little bit before where the road crosses the stream.
