TRV miscellanea

On Sunday 13 there was the Calliope Hummingbird which Paul already mentioned at the Community Gardens. Relatively tame but if you get too close it all the sudden flies off to neighboring trees. I also counted about 20 Yellow-headed Blackbirds In the Castor Bean all the way in the back of the gardens. There was also a couple on the power lines near the entrance. The Green-tailed Towhee continues at the Bird and Butterfly Garden as well but it didn’t seem like it was going to stick around. There is also an off and on female type Vermilion Flycatcher at the Sunset Ballfields with a occasional male type as well. And last but not least the Prothonotary Warbler continues in the eucalyptus with a female type Summer Tanager seen this morning.
