Townsend’s Solitaire and Townsend’s Warbler in Borrego Palm Canyon

Hi all,

While participating in the CBC today at Borrego Palm Canyon, Brendan Reed and I found a Townsend’s Solitaire near the first palm grove. Unfortunately, I forgot to record GPS coordinates when we saw it, but I think it was near (33°16’47.4″N 116°25’54.0″W). We heard it calling for quite a while before we saw it. We also saw a Townsend’s Warbler, which is apparently rare in Borrego Valley on the CBC, in the palm grove and other nearby trees.
