Thursday Mount Soledad morning-flight
By – 10:33 am
Given the light North winds and partly cloudy skies early this morning (E to NNE is best), 21 April, I gave Mount Soledad a try for the first time in almost two weeks (wind direction and cloud cover have not been favorable as of late…). While not a large flight today by any means, the species composition provides a semi-window into the relative numbers of migrants currently passing through the coastal county.2 Vaux’s Swift1 Olive-sided Flycatcher1 empid sp.2 Ash-thr.
