Sweetwater Res. Bald Eagle, geese, swallows–and misc.

A check of Sweetwater Reservoir this morning, Dec 9, produced an immature Bald Eagle, very rare in the coastal-slope lowlands, 3 Snow Geese with about 120 Canada Geese, 6 Canvasbacks, and a roosting concentration of 120 swallows comprising 75 Trees and a high-in-winter 45 Barns. The fishing access at the bottom end of the reservoir is open only on Sat, Sun, and Mon.
