Storm-Petrel on Lower Otay Lake

Birding at Lower Otay Lake in the rain and Alex Abela first spotted a storm-petrel on the lake, but at a pretty good distance near the bottom end a little after 3:00 p.m.. The bird did not have any white on the rump that we could see and our gut impression was it was probably at Least storm petrel but we lost it after a short while in all the rain and now were hoping we can refind it as the rain is letting up.
