Stilt Sandpiper in Del Mar

At 6:20 a.m. on Sunday there is a stilt sandpiper with the pectoral in the temporary pools bordering the sports park soccer fields in Del Mar near the corner of via de la valle and El Camino real.

Yesterday, I had a nice count of 31 common terns at pond 22 at the saltworks– off the end of 13th Street– in a large flock of elegants.
