Ross’s Geese, black and white, white winged dove, lesser yellow legs

By – 9:32 am
Wednesday morning, there are three Ross’s geese on the main Dairy Mart pond, currently straight out from the blind at the east end of the pond. The long staying white winged dove continues at the community gardens on Hollister, and at the corner of Hollister and Sunset there is a yellow warbler that’s undoubtedly the same bird back for like five or six winters now. Also back for multiple winters, presumably, is the lesser yellowlegs this morning with Greaters at the stint island at the end of 10th at the salt works which is at least the third winter it has been in this area.Yesterday, I had a black and white warbler in the Stonecrest neighborhood northwest of 15 and 8, a Pacific slope flycatcher at Kearny Mesa Community Park, and then also slate colored junco and black-throated gray warbler in Serra Mesa.Paul Lehman, San DiegoSent from the all new AOL app for Android
