Rose-breasted Grosbeak in Carlsbad

While working in the yard this AM, i was surprised to see a Grosbeak at my feeder, and even more surprised when i put my glasses on and detected a red-tinged on the breast.  Photos on the eBird list were shot thorough the window, but are consistent with the views I had while in the yard.  The bird returned intermittently through the day, and may be viewed from our west fence- line.
