Red-necked Grebe continues

Not reported since 26 December, the Red-necked Grebe, back for its SIXTH winter, continues in San Diego Bay off Shelter Island. At dawn this morning it was off the south end of the “island”–the opposite end from its ‘usual’ haunts at dawn.
Two Summer Tanagers continue (since November) in the San Gorgonio/San Fernando Road neighborhood of eastern Point Loma, and a couple Yellow Warblers are at their usual winter ‘stronghold’ in the tipu parking lots at Liberty Station.
