Red-breasted Sapsucker Lopez Ridge Park

I  saw a Red-breasted Sapsucker in a Eucalyptus tree in the Northwestern corner of Lopez Ridge park in Mira Mesa. This seems to be early for them so I thought I would report it. I saw it around 930 this morning. I didn’t realize it was early for them until I looked in the bird atlas.Elizabeth MorganSan Diego, CA
