Re: Yellow-billed Loon continues

Hey Dave thanks for letting us know that the snowy owl wasn’t as far as we thought. We went out this morning and had the snowy owl about 5 to 8 . Great sighting, in very good light for Sonja’s pictures. What was really cool though, is there was a telephone pole no more than 20 yards behind her. We watched a Peregrine hit a dove land on the pole and eat breakfast. Only about the 4th or 5th time I have seen that happen in front of me. Pretty exciting thanks again for letting us know how close it was.
