Addendum: The closest access point to specific location is from Sky Haven Road which is north of the lake.  If you put in 3759 Sky Haven Ln Oceanside, CA 92056 into google maps, it will take you to trail head. The lake spot is less than 75 yards from this point. Despite this omission, it looks like people were able to see the bird Saturday afternoon. Hopefully, it stays around for little bit.
