Thanks Paul for the heads up about all the birds!  Ron and I also stopped by at 8th street somewhere around 9:45 and picked through 1000’s of flying shearwaters before moving to Torrey Pines up on the bluff and picking through 1000’s more on the water.  We saw the leucistic/albino birds flying, but did not find a Manx.  Thousand’s of birds were headed north the whole time we were there.  We left about 11:40.  There are tons of birds overall and lots feeding along with dolphins.  It was worth going just for the sheer numbers of birds.
