Re: Least Bitterns at Santee Lakes

Saw 3 least bitterns this morning beginning at 8:30, northeast side of pond five, roughly where Ed Henry reported seeing them yesterday. I left about 9:15 and two birds were in the reeds about midway between the teen center/entrance gate and the pump house at the NE corner of the lake.

Two green herons seen as well, with the usual suspects. Wood ducks are molting and look pretty ragged.
