I have checked other bodies of water this week to see what possibilities for shorebirds might exist for fall migration.Ramona Pond has some nice edge currently.Lake Cuyamaca has vegetation growing clear into the water – no exposed shoreline at all.Lake Henshaw – lake level is low. The shoreline you can see from the road looks good, but there is very little of it as the shore now cut through an extensive forest of willow. I have not yet taken a look at Sutherland, but it usually does not get much in the way of shorebirds. Nancy ChristensenRamona
