Re: FRNC and Greater PeWee

I, along with Jim Roberts, saw the Greater Pewee at 5 p.m., Sunday, 9/2, at the base of the Dip. It perched briefly on a dead branch just outside the west fence, then dropped into the canyon and perched for a few minutes on dead branch of scrub. I got a few so-so photos through the fence. It then flew, and Jim saw it about 45 minutes later about 100 yards north of the Dip, along the fence line. I left about 6:45 as the sun set and no one had seen it since then.

Earlier, with Mark Stratton . . . we saw the gray flycatcher a bit south of the Dip, on the west fence.
