Re: Blue-Headed Vireo still at Solana Highlands Park

1:52 pm

Blue-headed vireo and plumbeous vireo were present at Solana Highlands Park as of 12:20 and 1:20, respectively. Blue-headed was foraging low in tipus here (32.9555552, -117.2390962) and plumbeous was foraging and occasionally vocal in pines at the corner of Long Run and High Bluff, directly behind the Solana Highlands Elementary sign. Three red-breasted nuthatches, and plenty of yellow-rumped warblers and Swinhoe’s white-eyes in the area to keep things challenging, just the way birders like it.
