Re: Adding to the glut of Red-breasted Nuthatches

We have seen red breasted nuthatches at Cabrillo National Monument through September and I still hear them every day. Before this season, I had never seen more than one at a time and only one or two sightings per season. They are traveling through the park in a group, hence the frequent vocalisations. They forage in the few pine trees we have here.
