Rain- Tijuana River Valley South of Sod Farm
Today (11/20/19) around 4:10 PM I stopped by to check the rains effect on the river south of the Sod Farms. There were a good amount of birds, need a scope for positive ids. Just brining it up in case anyone is in the area over the next few days. Today there were dowitchers, Yellowlegs, plovers, mallards, egrets, Osprey, curlews, godwits and swallows.
Also, a lot of warblers and king birds at a small pond/puddle forming in the parking lot of the Las Americas outlet center, next to entrance from Sipes Lane.
