Possible Neotropic Cormorant- San Diego River Sea world section
Parked at the west end of Old Sea World drive and walked 100 yards to just west of the new bridge being constructed this morning at 6 am. On the power lines that cross the river were 25 or so cormorants. One considerably smaller, though tail hung slightly lower than the Double-crested that were next to it and it’s head was about at where the neck started on the Doubles. Unfortunately it flew at around 6:15. Possible this would be a place to check this evening just before dark. I assume if this is confirmed it’s the one found by Jay D yesterday.
