Possible Blue-headed Vireo re-found (?) at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Friday 9/7/18
Stopped by FRNC around 4:45 PM (after flying into SDIA this afternoon) to take a quick look around. In the NW Section, I found the possible Blue-headed Vireo reported by Justyn Stahl yesterday. It was located in the Italian Stone Pine that is the second closest to the NW fence corner. The bird moved around the top limbs of the tree for several minutes and then disappeared. It’s location in the tree top and the overcast sky (and my limited talent) produced a few marginal photos. No vocalization.
