Pigeon Guillemot continues, Kittiwake

The basic plumaged Pigeon Guillemot seen a couple hours ago flying by La Jolla, first spotted by Bridget Spencer, is now swimming in La Jolla Cove at the north end of the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club not far off the beach. And I did see that it has a dark underwing, eliminating the near-zero chance of Black Guillemot. About an hour ago we also had a young kittiwake fly by. Moderate number of red phalaropes, including several small groups landing on the rocks for periods of time.
