pelagic trip corrigendum; Summer and Black&white

In the summary I posted yesterday concerning the Jan 4th pelagic “chase trip,” I failed to include one species on the list: Black-vented Shearwater 225.Bird news from today, 5 January, includes an adult male Summer Tanager and a female Bullock’s Oriole at Kimball Park in National City, where the tanager is very likely a returning bird from last winter, and both seem to like the pink-flowered eucalyptus trees. And a female Black-and-white Warbler continues in Stonecrest/Serra Mesa.–Paul Lehman, San Diego
