Pelagic birding news.

Hello all,

As you know the Covid 19 health concerns shut down San Diego pelagic birding trips for the Spring of 2020.
The good news is that the San Diego sport fishing fleet, and whale watching boats have been given the health dept. Green Light  to start operations on a limited basis this week.
Unfortunately this is too late for our June 13th. trip, but the following trips are a go !!
August 16, 2020,   a Sunday,  12 hrs
September 19, 2020,   a Saturday,  12hrs.
October   4, 2020,  a Sunday   10 hrs
Trip details, prices, past trip reports, and possible birds noted at www.sandiegopelagics.com.  These are birding trips, and although whales, dolphin, and other wildlife will be seen.  Our main concentration will be on seabirds
All trips depart from Mission Bay.
You must be healthy, on the day of the trip, to board. Boats will be sanitized, and other special instructions will be given prior to your arrival at the landing.
I recommend you act quickly to make a reservation at www.sdwhale.com or call Seaforth Sportfishing at 619 224-3383  between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ( I expect phone lines will be very busy ).
I hope to see you onboard,
Dave Povey
