This evening (Sun Sep 4) there are 2 juvenile Pectoral Sandpipers at San Elijo lagoon. At 6pm they were hunkering down among a group of dowitchers on the island between the train tracks and highway 101, just a scope view north-west of the pedestrian tunnel towards Cardiff state beach parking entrance.
