Birded the South McCoy Trail at Tijuana Slough NWR Saturday morning December 5, 2020, starting from the small parking area at 5th St. and Iris Ave. There were two Pacific Golden-Plovers just east of the fence line about 1/4 mile south of the trailhead. A Green-tailed Towhee was in the large shrubs (sumac?) at the west end of the large, currently dry, pond which is located about 4/10 mile south of the trailhead.
