Neotropic Cormorant in Mission Valley
There is currently an adult Neotropic Cormorant in a moderate-sized flock of double-cresteds swimming in the San Diego River immediately upriver, or east, of the Mission Center Road crossing in Mission valley. 9 a.m. Saturday morning. One can park either on the south side of the crossing at Best Buy or Mimi's Cafe or on the north side of the crossing on Hazard Center drive. Otherwise I had a female summer tanager in old trolley Barn Park in North Park.
