Nelson’s Sparrows at Kendall-Frost Marsh

9:27 am

morning was a fairly high tide so I decided to go see if I could find a Nelson’s
Sparrow at Kendall-Frost Marsh and I found 2!
They popped up on a shrub together at 8:12am, a full hour and 45 minutes
after high tide. The location was midway between the chain-link cage and the
large round raised manhole cover(?) on the hillside, about here: (32.792830, -117.231239).  The next
three mornings (Sat, Sun, and Mon) will all have very high tides, so should be
good for viewing Nelson’s.
