Morley Palm and Tennessee, etc
Around 6pm today, visiting birder Matt Brady found a Palm Warbler and a Tennessee Warbler at Morley Field. The Palm was with Yellow-rumps between the Velodrome and the ball fields, roughly at 32.737606, -117.140239
The Tennessee was in a tree with red fruit that has traditional been good in past years (joined by Hooded and Bullock’s orioles today), in the median here: 32.740137, -117.139000
Earlier at the entrance to Border Field State Park another Palm Warbler was heard by our group but only seen briefly by Sadowski here:
One Black-and-white Warbler was still at Ward Canyon.
