Magnolia Warbler joins other warblers at La Jolla Farms Dr. Tipuana tipus at LDS area

This morning about 0815, a Magnolia Warbler appeared in the NE corner of the LDS parking lot, then disappeared high into the canopy of one of the tallest tipu trees there, where all warblers become just silhouettes to me against an overcast sky. With persistence, I was also able to get reasonable looks at at least one Tennessee Warbler. There were quite a few empids, in addition to some western warblers and a flock of Swinhoe’s White-eyes and others. Most of the empids looked liked PSFLs tho one had a Hammond’s look and proportions, but did not try to ID most empids because visibility tough enough just trying to sort out the warblers. sue
