Late Laguna Mountains report PABU, etc Friday 12 Aug

Spent most of Friday in the Lagunas; Agua Dulce, West Meadow, Big Laguna, m19. Nice birds, some warbler activity along AD creek by the pump house including a Nashville. Water-in-the-Woods area Willow flycatcher frequently “Whit” calling and easily seen foraging in the riparian at the base of the earthen dam. Topped off with a couple Painted Buntings HY male/female plumage at twilight along the main Sunset trail roughly 500m from the m19 parking area.
