Lapland Longspur, White throated Sparrow, Palm Warbler
11:26 am
Saturday morning, there is a Lapland Longspur loosely associated with Horned Larks in the southern section of the dog run on Fiesta Island. A White throated Sparrow was with a few White crowns along Silvergate near Dupont, in the large cape honeysuckle hedge, where a White throat has wintered multiple years recently. This is the first White throated in the county this fall, starting out much slower than the crazy number we had last year. A Palm Warbler was with the Yellow rumped flock near the northeast corner of the cemetery this morning, perhaps a continuing bird.
