Lake Murray, 9 Sep. 2023, White-eyed Vireo, Neotropic Cormorant continue

The WEVI was singing and cooperative today for a few birders this morning. It has finished body molt and looks quite spiffy again, but I noticed in photos today it is still growing its outer-most primaries, so probably not leaving just yet. The one NECO continues to roost on the power lines over San Carlos Bay each night, and probably stays local and forages around the lake during the day. The other two NECO may have shifted over to Sweetwater Reservoir. There were a few common migrants around today, but nothing of note.
