Laguna Meadow Area 11/11/20
Took advantage of having the day off and hiked out to Big Laguna Lake. Conditions were cold and snow-covered on the way in, and warm and slushy/muddy on the way out.
It was business as usual for the most part up there as far as birds go. Of note was yet another Gray-headed Junco and a Lewis's Woodpecker just Northeast of Water of the Woods which I'm assuming to be the same bird that was in the area last winter.
Big Laguna Lake itself was well populated with Mallards and Coots, accompanied by small groups of American Wigeon, Ruddy Duck, Cinnamon Teal and Bufflehead.
