La Jolla Seawatch: Bullers and Short tailed Shearwaters, Nazca Booby

30 birders are currently at La Jolla Cove Sunday morning, seawatching in the wind, and we’ve had a Buller’s shearwater right in the surf, incredibly close, feeding with gulls, one Short tailed Shearwater, and an adult Nazca Booby. Also a few Red phalaropes.
