At dawn this morning, Weds, there was a Fork-tailed Storm-petrel at La Jolla seawatch. First spotted by Jay D at around 6:18, it was coming out of the cove and then went south and was out of view by 6:22, very close to shore. Likely blown into the cove overnight and then departed at first light, as several other storm-petrels and tubenoses have done over the years following an overnight wind.
