The great crested flycatcher in residential Point Loma was still present at 10:20 a.m. It’s M.O. is that it likes sitting near the top of pepper trees or other trees with little fruits and berries and it will sit quietly for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. So could be easily missed if you don’t look at just the right branch. A pepper or two that it seems to particularly like is on the north side of Dudley immediately east of Silvergate, but it also went to the west of there along the alleyway that runs west to the north of Dudley as well as on Dudley itself as well as the first alleyway south of Dudley.
