Jacumba: Lark Bunting, 5 Harris’s Hawks, Snow Goose, White-throated Sparrow, Cassin’s Kingbird

An AM visit to Jacumba on Saturday the 25th produced the continuing Lark Bunting in a flock of Brewer’s and White-cr. Sparrows in the abandoned ag fields due west of the west end of the runway, the long-continuing group of 5 Harris’s Hawks which today were both on the south side and the north side of town, a continuing White-throated Sparrow on west side of the stores, a very-rare-for-Jacumba imm Snow Goose in a wet channel and puddles just northeast of the pond, a continuing Green-tailed Towhee near the pond/old swimming pool, a late-lingering Cassin’s Kingbird, a Prairie Falcon over the ag fields, and the long-continuing Lesser Scaup, Red-sh. Hawk, and White-br. and Red-br. Nuthatches.
