Hepatic Tanager in Tierrasanta
This morning, Sunday, I had a male HEPATIC TANAGER in the Tierrasanta neighborhood of San Diego. The bird is in a semi-private H.O.A. park, so I will not publicly post directions. But if anyone is truly desperate to look for it, please contact me privately. The park and surrounding neighborhood has quite a bit of attractive habitat for a tanager, so it may well not be overly easy to re-locate. And hopefully most everyone has seen the recent female at Via La Jolla Park of the multi-year male (R.I.P.) at Marston House in Balboa Park–among others. Also a "Slate-colored" Junco in the park.
