Heads up for Escondido CBC – Wilson’s Snipe at Ramona Pond

I spent some time at Ramona Pond mid morning today. For whoever is going
to cover the pond for the Escondido CBC, thought I’d mention that I
found 3 Wilson’s Snipe hiding quite well at the southeast end of the
pond. They were foraging in the dead plants/grasses along the shoreline.
Quite difficult to see. Had to be at the right angle. I caught some
movement and that’s how I found them.
