Grosbeak update, 2 more Summers, another Tennessee
10:02 am
The pair of rosebreasted grosbeaks and female blackheaded continue in the same general area as stated in my first post. They do wander at least a half a block or more in each direction and disappear for periods of time and then one refinds them. Also frequenting the same area now are two Summer tanagers, a young male with a little bit of rose red on the head and upper breast, much less red than the male over at PLNU had, and a purely greeny yellow female. Also continuing four Western tanagers . The Tennessee has not been heard or seen for a little while now. But speaking of Tennessee’s, I hear that Jimmy McMorran has one this morning in his yard in Leucadia, adding yet one more to the total!
