This AM, trees and ground near ‘model boat’ pond on Vacation Isle, there were- Black-and-white and Grace’s Warblers, Golden-crowned Kinglet (some vocals, seen also), and ‘Slate-colored’ Junco. Some of these birds are ‘continuing’. Off Mission Beach, three Common Murres (on the water) and a few Black-vented Shearwaters were about medium-distance out, as viewed by telescope. After lunch, a first-winter Glaucous-winged Gull was in the Bay, picked out amongst a large flock on the water south of Fiesta Island. A quick visit to the Dog-Park produced few birds.Good Birding,Paul ChadUniversity City
