Franklin’s Gull report, other news

I just received a message from Jim Pea that at noon on Tuesday he believes he has a Franklin’s Gull in the San Diego River channel bordering Robb Field, closer to the north side. He said it has a black bill in which case it might be a 1-year-old bird, but I don’t know any of the other details or exactly what else it looks like.
Earlier this morning, I had a getting late Townsend’s Warbler at Fort Rosecrans Cemetery, and a getting late migrant Common Loon flying north in the early morning over Point Loma, as typical migrants do. Also a Pacific Loon at Zuniga Jetty.
