Encinitas Grace's Warbler returns to Crest Dr., 17 October 2020
The male Grace's Warbler had returned for its 3rd winter to its favorite pines in the vicinity of 1260 Crest Drive, Encinitas, where it was found foraging intermittently today between 1230 pm and 2:30 pm. This bird was first found in this same location two years ago on Dec. 7, 2018 (SES, RC, PGN,EM,PK), and stayed at least until about 29 March 2019 (PG Nell). In fall 2019, it was first spotted again by Tito Gonzalez on 9 Nov 2019, and stayed through at least the first week in March (6 Mar 2020–ebird PGN,SES).
