Coronado Lucy’s Warbler and odd warbler sp.
Coronado Lucy’s Warbler and odd warbler sp.

Early this morning, 15 Nov, in residential Coronado, there was a
Lucy’s Warbler in blooming meloleucas in front of #840 Coronado
Avenue, which fairly quickly got chased by a Yellow-rumped. So it
could be anywhere in the area. In pepper trees near the
intersection of J X 10th X Alameda there was a decidedly odd
looking warbler that was either a Townsend’s X Black-throated Gray
hybrid or a pigmentally-challenged Townsend’s or a xanthochromatic
Black-throated Gray. Photos in my ebird list: S97639596.
