Continuing Pacific Golden-Plover, 11/12

An early morning expedition (approximately 06:30) showed the Pacific Golden-Plover was still in the eastern part of the sod farm off Dairy Mart Road. It’s been there for about a week with the large flock of Killdeer.

I later returned with a couple of birders to help scope for the bird. By 10:30-ish, the sprinklers were going and the field in which the Killdeer and subject bird had been seen, were being plowed. Nary a Killdeer in sight.
