On Friday the 20th, the wintering Painted Redstart continues in Tierrasanta; and on Saturday the 21st, a female Black Scoter and 3 of the 4 White-winged Scoters continue off Camp Surf, and 2 male Black Scoters (always close together) continue on south San Diego Bay. A total of 8 Yellow-crowned Night-Herons (3 pairs of adults, one already on a nest, and 2 one-year-olds) are at the Imperial Beach Sports Park. Still large numbers of mixed swallows at many water bodies.
